Ron graduated from Lamar University in 20xx and is a middle school teacher and coach. Shani is currently serving in the US Navy and will be completing her degree in November 2012. Together, they enjoy watching movies, going to sporting events, cooking, and spending time with close friends and family.

On their Christmas trip to Shani's hometown in Phoenix, AZ, they attended a movie night at SonRise Faith Community Center. Ron had prepared a special slide show just for her. On a 10 foot high screen, the pictures captured many moments of her life with family and friends while playing one of Shani's favorite songs by Kem, "Share My Life". By the end of the show Ron brought Shani to the front, got down on one knee and proposed. With tears of joy in her eyes, Shani said YES!

Shani and Ron decided to do a destination wedding to create a memorable experience of this wonderful occasion.

When Shani is released from active duty in March of 2013, they plan on relocating together and buying a house.
